Fiona Tung

Fiona is an approachable and empathetic clinical psychologist who is passionate about helping people through their difficult times. She works with a client centred approach and believes in strengthening clients’ protective factors to build a more resilient individual. 

Qualifications

Fiona gained her psychologist full registration 2006, and completed the Masters of Clinical Psychology program in 2017. Fiona is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and her registration number with the national governing body (AHPRA) is PSY0001013093. 

Experience

Fiona has worked as a psychologist in both inpatient and community mental health settings. Her experiences include working with adults and adolescents to manage a range of issues including anxiety, depression, self-esteem problems, grief and loss, social and relationship difficulties, work or study related stress, and other adjustment difficulties using psychological strategies. Fiona is interested in working with young people and adolescents to deal with social and emotional health difficulties. She is also experienced in working with children as young as 14. Fiona offers evidenced-based therapy such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), solution based therapy, motivational interviewing, and Mindfulness.
