Annie is a warm and genuine clinical psychologist who listens to people’s needs empathically. She believes that a trusting relationship is the foundation for any change to follow. She relates with warmth to her clients and creates a safe space where her clients can collaboratively explore the most effective strategies to improve their emotional well-being.
Annie has a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with Distinction, and a double majored Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice with First Class Honours, both from the University of Hong Kong. Her registration number with the national governing body (AHPRA) is PSY0002406594.
Annie has been a clinical psychologist since 2014. She has previously worked in public hospitals, preschools, and specialised clinics for people with gambling problems and ASD, as well as their family members. Annie has experience in working with people from all walks of life and across the lifespan.
Annie has experience working with a wide range of presenting problems including anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, emotional regulation, sleep difficulties, stress management, ADHD, ASD, and parenting support. She adopts evidence-based approaches to intervention such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and Motivational Interview (MI).
