Denton Clinical Psychology

Effective, compassionate therapy to improve your quality of life

Psychology sessions still available even with COVID-19
Please be assured that wherever possible we will continue to provide therapy sessions in the coming weeks and months. However, therapy from our psychologists will now be delivered in a modified format known as ‘telehealth’. That is, sessions via video-conference (on the Zoom app) or by phone if Zoom is impractical for you. This decision has been made in light of the Government’s directive for all people to stay home unless ‘absolutely necessary’ to go out. We are continuing to accept new referrals.
Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns. We hope to be a stable point of contact for you during this uncertain and stressful period.

Our Services

We provide expert assessment and treatment of mental health issues in children, adolescents, and adults. We are committed to providing therapy that is individually-tailored and based on extensive research, so that the therapy is as effective as possible in reducing or eliminating symptoms. Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) are two such therapies that we use. There are a range of appointment times, including after-hours time slots.

Our Psychologists

Our clinical psychologists are compassionate as well as being highly-qualified, and are committed to helping you live the life you want to live.

Each of the psychologists on our team have post-graduate degrees in clinical psychology and considerable experience in the field. When you come in for your initial assessment, the psychologist can give you more information about what they can offer to help you.

Dr Fiona J Denton founded Denton Clinical Psychology in 2005. The practice grew through word of mouth over the next few years, and by 2013 moved into its current larger premises to accommodate the growing number of referrals.

The aim of the practice has always been to increase general awareness of mental health, and to give people the tools to effectively deal with their psychological and emotional issues.

Fiona has successfully treated hundreds of people, and travels locally and internationally to speak about a variety of topics related to mental health. It continues to be a privilege for her to come alongside her clients, and guide them through life’s challenges.
